About 5-AMINO-1MQ 50mg
5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a small, membrane-permeable quinolinium compound rather than a peptide. It is described in the literature as a selective inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme involved in nicotinamide and methyl-donor metabolism.
Published work on 5-Amino-1MQ is preclinical, mostly in cultured adipocytes and rodent models used to study NNMT activity and cellular energy metabolism.
